Flight A top 3

Perry Variano is back and ready to compete! He captured the San Marcos event with a net score of 73. Welcome back, Perry! Elmer Schmidt finished second with a net score of 74, tying with Darrell Ruehle, who also scored 74. A scorecard playoff determined the third-place winner. William Nelson received the “Atta Boy” award.

Flight B top 3

Here’s a guy we don’t see too often. He knows San Marcos well, especially the back nine. He plays it every Monday. He used his course knowledge to win the B Flight competition—congratulations, Rocc! Doug Walsh secured second place, tying Rocc with a net score of 73, but Rocc prevailed in a scorecard playoff. Neal Fisel and Kevin Hudspeth both finished with a net score of 74. Neal earned third place. Kevin received the “Atta Boy” award.

Flight A top 3

Three players tied with a net score 71: Dan Bengtson, Steve Laveirge, and Matthew Brogen Jr. Dan finished 1st place in a scorecard playoff, Steve 2nd, and Matthew 3rd. Eric Marshall received the “Atta Boy” award with a net score 72.

Flight B top 3

Today at Ken McDonald, the top two players were Joe Galli and Jim Drago. Both achieved a net score of 69. Joe secured first place and Jim took second after a scorecard playoff. Doug Walsh regained his stroke and finished in third place. Brian Dempster also had a net score of 70, tying with Doug, but Doug won the playoff for the position.

Rusty is once again at the top of A Flight with a net score of 73. Watching you play on Monday was fantastic! Steve Richter secured second place with a net score of 76. Al Dan took third with a net score of 79. Dan and Dave Dean both had net scores of 79. The tie was settled using a scorecard playoff. Elmer Schmidt and Rich Orbon both tied with net scores of 80. What great sportsmanship they displayed by sharing the “Atta Boy”!

Flight B top 3

Tim Sherry won Flight B. He also had the lowest score for the event, with a net score of 71. Congratulations, Tim! In second place was Cathy Harvey, who scored 78 net. Well done, Cathy! Neal Fisel secured third place with a score of 81 net. The prestigious “Atta Boy” award goes to Jim Foster for his score of 82 net.
