Flight A top 3

Ladies first my Mom used to say and so it was. June Vatrano shot a 65 net for first place and it was a you-go-girl day. Jim Emma 2nd @ 72 net, and Tom Hebert tied at 73 net with George Kowalchik, and Matt Brogren. In the scorecard playoff, it was Tom who got 3rd place and George and Matthew shared the Atta Boy.


Flight B top 3

Bill “The Carver” Heller scolded the field with a glorious 61 net score. Good job Bill no great job. Darrell Doust is 2nd at 67 net, and Doug Walsh 3rd at 68. Alan Arndt took the Atta Boy home today at 69 net.

Rest in Peace Jeff Currie a long-time VGA Player and Offical and Board Member passed away this March of unknown causes to me anyway. Jeff loved Golf and the VGA and served them both well. Thanks, Jeff.

The Bear Course stretches to 6,825 yards from the back tees and plays to a par 71, with a course rating and slope of 71.6/122. The Bear was designed as a championship length inland “links-style” course, and features rolling fairways, strategic bunkering and well-conditioned greens. Rounds on the Bear Course should be completed in about 4 hours.

Diamond Jim Cox is in for 1st at 66 net and the lowest score for the Event at Bear Creek today, well done Jim. Ken Slagle keeping it on the fairway and in the right direction was 2nd with 72 net. Tom Anderson 3rd at 74 net. Perry Variano, Kevin Haskew, and Rusty Silvermans shared the Atta Boy with all three at 75 net settled in a scorecard playoff.


Flight B top 3

Don Majors in at 69 for 1st in Flight 2 good job Don. Doug Walsh 2nd at 73 net for 2nd place and the Dean of VGA Gordon Lukert and Steve Richter tied at 75 nets with Gordon taking 3rd place and Steve taking the Atta Boy in their scorecard playoff.

Matthew “No Pic” Brogen Jr. won first place in the one-flight event at Robson Ranch Course today with a net score of 66. Congratulations, Matt! Larry Burton secured the second position with a net score of 68 while Brian Dempster came in third with a net score of 69. Eric Neilan and Fred Baldwin both scored 71 nets and received a tied Atta Boy. Their positions were decided in a scorecard playoff.
