Jim Foster clinched the victory today, despite being tied with Steve Yamasaki at a net score of 71; he triumphed in a scorecard playoff on the unique Arizona Grand course. Naturally, Steve secured 2nd place, while Dennis Sylvia claimed 3rd with a net of 72. Larry Burton earned an ‘Atta Boy’ with a net score of 73. There was a single flight today, which kicked off at a sweltering 9 am.

Joe Galli secured first place in Flight B with the day’s lowest score of 71 net. Well done, Joe. Gary Vance claimed second place with a commendable 73 net. Completing the top three was Fred Baldwin at 76 net. The Atta Boy was jointly awarded to Curt Kloc, Tom Hebert, and Don Majors, each with a score of 79 net.

Dave Dean clinched 1st place in today’s single-flight event with a net score 67. Well done, Dave! Larry Burton followed closely, securing 2nd place with a net score of 69, just two strokes behind. Mike Roether, making a notable return, landed in 3rd place with a net score of 70. The ‘Atta Boy’ was shared by Jim Cox, Donald Majors, William “The Carver” Heller, and Jeff Darbut, all finishing with a net score of 73.
Jim is determined to save a stroke after hitting the ball out of the shallow creek at Palmbrook.
