Flight A top 3

Newcomer Robert Scott won the A Flight with a net score of 71. Well done, Robert! Dave Dean also finished with a net score of 71, tying Robert for first place; however, Robert ultimately claimed the win after a scorecard playoff. Dave took 2nd place. Rob Katzaroff secured third place with a net score of 76, and Jon Zoffka earned the “Atta Boy” award with a net score of 77.

Flight B top 3

The Carver is back! Bill Heller secured 1st place in the B Flight with a net score of 73. Neal Fisel followed closely in 2nd place with a net score of 74, while Fred Baldwin took 3rd place with a net score of 77. Ken Baca and Cathy Harvey tied with net scores of 78 and will share the Atta Boy-Girl award.

Flight A top 3

Brian Scott secured 1st place in A Flight with a net score of 70. Dan Bengston took 2nd place with a net score of 73, while Dave Dean finished in 3rd place with a net score of 74. William Nelson earned the “Atta Boy” award with his net score of 75.

Flight B top 3

I’m not quite sure how he acquired the stock in a public course, but Gordon Lukert, known as “The Dean of VGA,” owns the Aguila Golf Course. Today, he took 1st place in the B flight with a net score of 66, just one stroke shy of shooting his age and the low net of the round. I could be mistaken, but I don’t think I’m far off. Well done, young man! Jim Foster, Jeff Darbut, and Jesse Aponte all shot 71 nets with Jim in 2nd place, Jeff in 3rd place, and Jesse got the Atta Boy all in a scorecard playoff.

Flight A top 3

Rob Katzaroff was first place in the A flight with a net score of 66—well done, Rob! Larry Burton, Eric Bowers, June Vutrano, and Kevin Williams each shot net scores of 70. Larry secured second place, while Eric Bowers took third. June and Kevin shared the “Atta Boy-Girl” award, all was determined through a scorecard playoff. Birdies worth $48 in bitcoin today. Three winners June Vutrano 3, Lonny Rakes 8, and Jim Emma 4.

Flight B top 3

Jon Zoffka had an impressive round, shooting a net score of 62, which secured him 1st place in the B Flight and marked the best score of the event by 4 strokes. Don Majors followed with a net score of 65, earning him 2nd place in the B Flight. George Kowalchik and Neal Fisel both finished with a net score of 66, but George took home the 3rd place prize while Neal received the “Atta Boy” award. Great job, B Flighters, on your outstanding scores! On a personal note, I shot a net score of 71 today, which is my best performance in a while. It’s frustrating to see everyone else posting scores of 66 or lower. Just kidding of course. 🙂
