In 2006, nine additional holes were woven into the original 18 by local golf course architect Ken Kavanaugh, significantly enhancing the layout. The VGA’s next big tournament is our Club Championship. This is a day-two event at the Tubac Golf Resort and Spa scheduled for the end of September, 28th and 29th in Green Valley, AZ (approximately 30 miles south of Tucson). Our hosting hotel is the Canoa Ranch Resort approximately 10 minutes from the golf course. Danielle, our contact at the resort has given us excellent rates. All information is attached.
Remember, to qualify for the Club Championship, you must play 10 rounds before the event. Prize money is $1,000 per flight paid to 10 places with a $50 prize to the low gross champion.
The golf at Tubac is fantastic, with the same accommodations, and good food nearby.
