Now Open, The Phoenician Golf Course
After a 10-month redesign, the new Phoenician Golf Course has reopened as an outstanding facility for golf enthusiasts. Using previously existing fairway corridors to reroute the course and develop new holes with re-contoured fairways as well as rebuilt and resurfaced green complexes, Architect Phil Smith transformed the previous 27-hole facility into a cohesive 18-hole golf course with a natural rhythm and flow.
Everything is in front of the golfer, with no surprise bunkers or blind hazards. Showcasing the unique beauty of Arizona’s Sonoran Desert, the course plays to a par 71 and offers four sets of player-friendly tees, ranging from 4,594 yards from the forward tees to 6,518 yards from the championship tees. Complementing it are The Phoenician Golf Shop, locker rooms and 19th Hole dining venue, which were all renovated and expanded.
